Samantha Wiggle Butt, better known as Sammy, was my loyal German Shepherd mix who stood by my side for over thirteen years. Whether we were browsing PetSmart or exploring Colorado’s scenic hikes, she was always with me, offering her unwavering companionship. She hogged the bed until she got older, then she slept on the floor within arm’s reach so I could play with her ears. Everyone who knew her misses her dearly, especially me.

Dexter was a special soul who needed extra care and multiple visits a day, and I was honored to be part of his world. He was pure love, and when excited, he’d bounce with joy like his paws couldn’t stay on the ground. The news of his passing broke my heart, but I know his spirit still dances just beyond the rainbow. Though he’s gone, he’ll live in my heart forever.

Sweetie Pie was my first client, and we shared so many wonderful seasons exploring Golden, CO while her fur mommy embraced grandmahood. True to her name, Sweetie was the sweetest companion, and together we enjoyed reading sessions and watching countless episodes of Bones, Dateline, and even the Olympics. She will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Kelty Kitty quickly became a regular while his fur mommy explored the mountains, as everyone in Colorado should. We spent hours on the floor playing, but most of all, he loved getting pets. The day we met, he came right out from hiding under the couch, and from that moment on, we were best friends.

Finn, a special needs pup, held a special place in my heart. We bonded while his fur parents took much-needed weekends to rest. When they were gone, they trusted me to care for him. We watched TV together, and some nights I slept next to his kennel, where he lulled me to sleep with his extremely loud snoring. I’ll always miss him.
